Mapped to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Post-registration Foundation Framework, this MSc provides opportunity to gather portfolio evidence, if you are working towards RPS credentialing. A team of academic and practice experts, in partnership with workplaces across the region, have skillfully developed this course, to support pharmacists in developing the knowledge and skills needed to deliver excellent person-centred care and to meet the challenges of a rapidly advancing profession. Graduates are also well positioned to pursue academic research careers as post doctoral research associates, and academics all within the UK and internationally.This course is open to UK-registered pharmacists with patient-facing roles across all sectors of practice. The PhD equips individuals for a variety of careers in both academia and industry. We work with many of the major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and have had the vision to start up several successful commercial ventures, providing valuable services to the pharmaceutical industry.Īt the end of three years’ full-time registration, plus one year optional writing-up, you will have written a thesis of between 80,000-100,000 words, in English or Russian, on a topic which makes a significant contribution to research in Russian and Slavonic Studies.
